How do I get UM to recognize custom fields?

I installed UM on a brand new site and need custom fields on the registration form. My theme has ACF builtin so I’ve created a field group with the additional fields. Now the problem is UM is not recognizing them when I edit the registration form. I’ve read the UM documentation on installing Advanced Custom Fields plugin but don’t see where I link that field group to UM.

Any guidance is appreciated.
