how to redesign registration page

You can create file page-register.php in your template.

Into this file you can add structure like this:

get_header(); ?>
<div class="reg_already"><?php the_content(); ?></div>
<?php
get_footer();

It’s shoud work if you don’t change slug of pages. Then you can add you own html elements.

Thank you for your response. However, can you please provide more information? I can write PHP and HTML however I do not know how to create a page that will work in Ultimate Member.

For example, what form fields do I use? Do you have a code example or documentation?

I followed the 2-3-columns documentation and got my registration form to almost look the way I want. The only issue I have is that the password and confirm password fields are both in the left column. I would like them to be side by side however I do not see a way to do that.

Did I miss something or do I have to override the template file?

1. Uncheck “Automatically add a confirm password field?”

2. Add from “Setup New Field” a new Password field for the Confirm field

3. Set the meta_key to confirm_user_password

4. Create two columns for the original Password field

5. Move the Confirm Password field to the second column

I successfully modified the register form appearance however now I want the tab key to position the mouse pointer/cursor horizontally instead of vertically.

My form fields are laid out so the user will want to move left to right, top to bottom when completing the form.

How can I change the tab index values on the form?

Your Tabindex Settings plugin worked well with text fields however I have since changed one of the fields to a dynamically populated dropdown and there is no tabindex parameter for the dropdown.

Do you have any suggestions?

UM is setting all dropdowns to tab index -1 even when I make the tab index positive.

I call that a bug.

I have updated my plugin with dropdowns ie SELECT statements.
You can download the update 1.1.0 and test if this happens for you too.

Thank you for doing this! However, even after updating the plugin tabindex still equals -1 for the dropdown.
