We are verifying our site to be compliant with ADA standards and that includes having labels on all form fields. In the WPForms basic contact form with captcha enabled, the captcha fields don’t have labels so they are showing up as failures in the ADA test. I cannot find a way to define labels on the captcha form fields, is there a way to do that? Thank you!

    Hi @gatsbycat,

Currently, we don’t have the feature to add an aria-label to a Google reCAPTCHA field. I’ve made a note of the feature request, and we’ll keep it on our radar to be reviewed as we plan out our roadmap for the future.

It should be possible to do this with custom code, like the custom code here. But I apologize as customizations like this are outside of our scope for support.

In case you’d like to look into custom development options, we highly recommend using Codeable.

    Thanks!

    Hi @gatsbycat,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
