Tracking outbound/external links

    I need to track YouTube views through the plug-in, but I guess it is not possible to track these views (through Analytics) — correct me if I’m wrong!

    Therefore, I would link to the YouTube-Video. Therefore, is it possible to track outbound links?

    And on that related note, does Analytics track media stored in the wp-content folder (for example a picture that is included in my website lies in the regular media location).

    Thanks for using Independent Analytics!

    I’m afraid that we don’t have video analytics or the outbound click tracking yet, but we will be adding both of these features in future updates.

    As for your media, if someone views the “attachment” page on your site, that view will be tracked and show up in the Pages menu. Does that answer your question?
