    Hello!

I’ve updated the plugin to the most recent version, did the import procedure, and all went well. I see the test gallery I had previously created. Now, I have the wedding photos I really want to sell and placed them in the gallery, replacing the previous, experimental ones.

I saw the changes in the design but honestly, I still prefer the previous style. I feel I need twice the clicks to achieve the same thing, as a client navigating through the photos and choosing sizes.

Is it possible to use the old design instead of the new “popup” style dialog with “next” and “previous” steps on the client-side?

    Thank you

Edit: is it possible to change the default photo when in the galleries main page? I tried working with the order of the photos but couldn’t “move” the one I wanted to first, so the first photo is now showing as a gallery preview. I wanted another photo to be that preview.

I understand what you are saying, the add to cart was right next to the image on a single click.

The new add to cart process is what it is now in Sunshine 3, the old method is no longer available. It allows for greater flexibility as Sunshine grows and evolves.

    Right.

But from the end-user side, is a nuissance due to the amount of clicks needed to reach the same goal. That is counterproductive.

What about the default photo that is shown in the shop page as gallery thumbnail? Is it possible to set that image to another that is not the first photo? Or change the order of the photos, whatever works best.

In the old version, there was: click thumbnail, select a category, select product, (optional change quantity), add to cart. 4 clicks.

Now it’s click cart icon for thumbnail, click product, (optional change quantity), add to cart. 3 clicks.

The new version eliminates the requirement to first click on the product category to help make up for this and shows all the products at once, imo a better experience.

I fully understand where you are coming from though. It was a long thought out conscious decision I ultimately made to move forward with after taking in a variety of factors, the biggest one being flexibility in features. Maintaining a code base with several different ways to add an item to cart was too complicated to manage and maintain and so there is now just this one new modal popup method.

Ok, I really thought it needed more clicks to achieve the same thing. The last time I tested it was long ago, tough. Thank you for the clarification, then!

Regarding the thumbnail issue, is there a way to set a “main” photo for the gallery, or to change the order of the photos in the gallery?

    Thank you!

Hi, Please, I have another issue. Please, why doesn′t my photogallery look the same in desktop as in mobile version? In mobile version, the last photo is missing: Fotogalerie – Jezero Most (mosteckejezero.com)

Please, may you help me with that?

    Thank you,

    Silvia
