Uploading products through woo commerce into my shop structure

  • Hi. I have set up a WP website complete with a Shop structure, which is visible on the Home page, for my jewellery items. I’ve installed Woo Commerce and I’ve gone into Products in the left hand menu right below Woo Commerce and uploaded a couple of items but I am unsure how to get them to actually appear in my shop structure that I set up. If I preview the Shop page neither the structure that’s visible from the Home page or the products are there. I built this website 2 years ago and have updated everything a few days ago so I don’t know if the WordPress updates have disturbed something. My website isn’t public yet so I’m unsure how I link the page as you’d need a log in to view it? Also if I update Themes will I lose all the settings I made such as fonts and colours etc?

    Would you mind explaining what you mean by shop structure?

    If I preview the Shop page neither the structure that’s visible from the Home page or the products are there.

    Your products might be hidden, especially if you are using a block based theme.

    You might want to follow the steps here to check if everything is set up properly, so you can see the products.

    While there is a chance that WordPress or Themes update will result in undesirable effects, it is unlikely to happen. Nevertheless, you might want to back up your site before running any updates.
