Not all Reviews are downloaded

    Hi @jgwhite33,

    I have just begun to use the plugin and I find it very simple & smooth to handle.

    I have a question though: There are 22 reviews (I have selected 2 per row & have added 11 rows) on my facebook page but it has downloaded only 10 and that’s what are being displayed on my homepage too.

    What is it that I am missing here? Is there a resolution to this?

    It should get more than that. Facebook does hold some reviews back, it depends on the privacy settings of the person who left the review, but normally this is only a few reviews not 12. Try deleting all the reviews and then re-download them. When you re-download, right-click on the screen > inspect > look for the console window. See if there are any message there that might help.

    It didn’t help. the same reviews have been downloaded.

    See if you can expand the nodes in the console. There should be a little plus to the left of the data: Array(5), lines. Expand all of them that have the wprev_facebook.js

    Hello @jgwhite33,

    I expanded and checked and there are 3 arrays (5,5,1) and i saw 5 reviews each in first 2 arrays & 1 review in the last array.

    There’s nothing after that. Hence only 11 are displayed.

    Is it something related to that your plugin is “Untested” with the latest version of WordPress?

    May be you can think of updating the plugin.

    The plugin is tested to WP 6.3.

    If there are no error messages in the console then that means those 11 reviews are the only ones that FB is returning in their API. Probably has to do with the privacy settings of the people who actually left the reviews.

    Hello Josh@jgwhite33 ,

    There’s another plugin who is pulling all the 22 reviews which means that no privacy settings are prohibiting them to be pulled/displayed.

    However, there are a few problems with that plugin:

    it repeats the reviews so in my case 22 reviews are becoming about 40 reviews and leading to unnecessary pagination.

    also the display style is not very pleasing.

    This is fyi please and necessary action, should you want to take.
