Hemisphere Maps

    Hello,

    Is there any chance to add some hemisphere maps? Our use case is missions work between the Americas, and when I use the world map to only show North, central and South America, it creates a huge empty space on the right that cannot be cropped out. A western hemisphere map would really help it look great.

    If you use the ‘Continents Low’ map and only add North/Shouth America and use the option to only display active, then set the map height in the visual settings to be more than 100%, you should get a balanced map.

    Would that work for you?

    Great idea! Unfortunately that will not work for us as I am highlighting countries within those continents. So right now I am using the Latin America map and it is great, but I need to add the US, but cannot.

    Actually, after some digging I changed my map from Great Lakes High to Great Lakes Low and it auto cropped. I switched it back to high and it did not auto crop. The new map is live here with 60% map height.

    When using the ‘high’ version of the map, it will include some smaller islands in Alaska that wraps around 180/-180 latitude threshold. From script point of view that’s two pieces of land, and they both have to be shown and therefore the map doesn’t crop like expected. The low version of the map doesn’t include those smaller islands and it crops as expected. Hope it makes sense.

    Options to manually manipulate this are only available in the Pro version.

    Ah ok! That makes sense, I did not notice that. I am happy with how our map turned out, thanks for creating such an awesome plugin!
