@ysintos will investigate a fix. Thanks for reporting.

@ysintos I’ve just found time to test this, but was not able to replicate the error on a fresh WP v6.3, PHP 8.1, ASE 5.7.0.

The error you quoted above relates to the Disable Gutenberg module in ASE. I disabled Gutenberg on all post types, and was able to upload an image to the media library via the Add New menu link, via the Grid view uploader, via the post edit screen “Add Media” screen.

Can you share more details on:

    • Your Disable Gutenberg module settings
    • Where you were trying to upload the image from
    • What happens when you do try to upload an image, did the uploader freeze? Did it churn out the PHP error message you quoted?

Thanks for helping to troubleshoot this further.

@ysintos by the way, I’ve implemented a fix for the PHP error, which should be part of the next release. Please update once it is released and test again on your end. Marking this fixed for now. Feel free to open a new thread should the issue persists.

@ysintos I’m revisiting ASE’s old(er) support threads to appreciate the feedback you’ve given in improving ASE with a sneak peak of, and discount code you can get for the soon-to-be-released Pro version of ASE.

If you’re interested, please contact me at https://bowo.io so I can send you the link to the website and the discount code.
