Confused: Media Library still shows images

    Hi Support, using the Pro version of the plugin, we’ve scanned, selected, deleted (moved to trash) and emptied the trash. All worked OK.

    But the image library still shows 18k images. Which is what it roughly started on.

    But we deleted over 180gb of images.

    I’m a bit lost – shouldn’t this number change? Does the plugin not remove the database entries when deleting?

    That’s indeed weird ?? At the same time, Media Cleaner trashed 180GB of images, so really, something happened. Was it a Filesystem Scan? If yes, that’s normal, this one only remove useless thumbnails – they are related to a Media entry, but that Media entry stays. If you ran a Media Library scan, indeed, that number should have decreased. Maybe caching? Something else?

    Nope, normal media scan. It removed the images it seems, but left the count.

    Perhaps caching, but admin-side is rarely cached. It’s odd, because the number didn’t change after the scan and delete (including emptying the trash).
