I’ve migrated my Woocommerce store from Rank Math.

I followed all these steps: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-migrate-from-rank-math-to-yoast-seo/

It seems all the data has come through, but Yoast has not calculated an SEO score for any products. This means I can’t sort by score in the products view to see what needs to be addressed. All have grey circles. Filter by “no keyphrase” also does not work; it shows zero results (which is not accurate.)

How can I get Yoast to recalculate SEO scores for all? Do I need to edit each product manually (I have hundreds)? Bulk edit does not fix it.

Does anyone know how to complete this migration from Rank Math?

    Thank you for reaching out!

I understand that you’ve imported your SEO data from Rank Math into Yoast SEO; however, SEO scores aren’t for them. We have seen unexpected issues where the previously optimized data is invalid or incomplete. We’ll start with a reset of the optimization to ensure we’ve removed any invalid data. We can assure you that your hard work will not be lost as the default WordPress tables also contain the SEO data. This process will only reset the custom Yoast tables with the combined data pulled from those default tables.

We know that resetting the data may sound intimidating, but our?How to reset the Yoast indexables?guide will walk you through the process step by step. We’ve also summarized the steps below.

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

I’ve followed these steps, and the situation is the same. Any other ideas, other than simply opening and re-saving hundreds of posts?

Thanks for following up with us.

The Yoast SEO plugin performs the SEO and readability analysis of the content straight in your browser while you are editing. This means that while you are editing a product/post/page, your browser is performing the analysis “live” as you add content, make modifications, etc. This is the score that’s displayed in your editor.

Once you publish or save a product/post, this score is then saved to the database. The scores saved in the database are the ones that are displayed in the post overview screen (under the score columns).

This is why you need to open up the product and click on “Update” to sync the “database score”. I am sorry as I understand this isn’t efficient.
