    Hello.

Last month we had a website (lomatta.cl) with your plugin and it was reading Analytics correctly. We deleted that web and installed a new one, then we reinstalled Site Kit by Google. We tried to link the web with the Analytics, we couldn’t do it. There is a message “Have Google verify site ownership. To verify that you own Lo Matta Cultural. Google adds a verification token to your site’s HTML code.” When I try to verify a message appears “Oh! Cannot find that page”.
I don’t why is this is happening. Could you help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out @mceciliayr. Based on your description, what may have happened is some of the site records for your current site don’t match the records collected previously. This can happen if you changed your wp-admin path or moved your WordPress files into a different directory. To determine more on this, and ensure you can complete setup, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
    2. Do you recall having made any changes to your site, such as a custom wp-admin path, since before last had Site Kit connected successfully? I checked your site and it seems you don’t have a standard wp-admin path at present.
    3. What is the final URL of the page you land back on with the “Cannot find that page” error? I ask as it may contain a callback path from a previous setup attempt.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Hi, thank you for you answer.

    1. I completed the form.
    2. The access to the admin is the same url than before. That was what you were asking for?
    3. The final URL of the page you land back on is https://shorturl.at/eBCMN

    Thank you.

    Regards,

Thanks for the update @mceciliayr, appreciate you sharing the additional insights. At some stage was it possible you’re wp-admin panel was accessed via /cms/wp-admin/, which seems to be the case based on the callback URL?

To resolve this, you can either revert to your previous setup if known (using the cms/wp-admin path, or alternatively, follow the steps below, which will trigger Site Kit to collect details on your new setup:

    1. Visit your site settings (Settings > General)
    2. Change your site address (URL) and WordPress address (URL) from https://lomatta.cl to https://www.lomatta.cl
    3. Press the save button
    4. Attempt Site Kit setup once more after logging back into your site.

Let me know how you get on with the above, or ask if you have any questions.

And I’m happy that you’re happy, and using Site Kit! If you run into any further issues, be sure to reach out. If you have a moment free, please also consider leaving a plugin review after you’ve had a chance to test out the plugin dashboard and features. Best of luck.
