Add ACF field to the search?

This is an amazing plugin and i have gottent so far in a short time frame. My challenge is, I have a post ACF filed that identifies the City a person lives in. I added ACF field type to the search and it gave me a list to choose from. Very easy so far. When I go to the front end Search area and click the drop down of that field, it gives me a number and says field name, but does not show me the name of the Cities to choose from. I must be missing something simple. Can this show the City Names in that field so the user can choose a specific city? Thank you for any assistance.
