What happens when changing Mastodon accounts/instance

    What happens to previously loaded toots if I were to e.g., change Mastodon instances and would need to do load a new timeline?

    Do the previous toots in WordPress remain? I am trying to maintain an archive of my toots, even if I move servers, so this is interesting to me.

    Sorry for the late reply.

    In general, the plugin is currently designed to work with only one mastodon instance at once.

    Nevertheless, if you have loaded toots from instance A, and change the settings to instance B later, your toots from instance A will not be deleted. And it could be (!) the case, that it will work without any issues. But I have never tested it. If you have a wordpress test environment, just try it out.

    This scenario is on my list, to work it out.
