    Hi,

We changed the hosting service. MailPoet plugin was not enabled during the migration and was not, maybe because of that, not installed. And now, when I try to install it, I’ll get the following error.

Tried to uninstall and install again. Deleted the installation and tried to install via FTP. Still the same error:

MailPoet Error: Exception: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'FMkTn7HT_mailpoet_subscribers.wp_user_id' in 'on clause' in /var/www/vhosts/trstudio.fi/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Models/Model.php:373

    Hi @aatosmedia,

This error means there’s a column missing in your database: mailpoet_subscribers.wp_user_id

It may indicate something went wrong when migrating the tables from one server to another. Do you have a website backup from before moving to your hosting service?

Thanks! We have the backup, but I can’t override the whole site anymore.

Can I for example? Uninstall the plugin, delete manually MailPoet tables from the DB, re-install the plugin, install the backup site to a temporary server and copy the settings manually? Or is there any other way to solve this?

    Hi Tommi,

Uninstall the plugin, delete manually MailPoet tables from the DB, re-install the plugin, install the backup site to a temporary server and copy the settings manually

You can delete the tables and re-install the plugin, so we can assure all the right tables will be created porperly. Then to get the data from your previous installation, you should import only the data for these tables, if you feel comfortable working with your database like this.
