With all of our backups to BackBlaze B2 failing, we’ve done some investigation.

If we configure each BackWPup instance manually, specifying the B2 endpoint, region, and clicking “multipart” and “pathstyle-only bucket”, backups work.

If we configure a job in the MainWP BackWPup Extension, when it propagates the job to our sites, the “region” field and both the multipart and pathstyle-only checkboxes are cleared. (i.e. that information is not correctly propogated).

For whatever reason, this causes BackWPup to log that the bucket does not exist in the backup logs, even though through the BackWPup GUI the bucket is visible and can be selected.

    To replicate:

    1) Create a backup job in MainWP BackWPup Extension. Specify an endpoint, region, and check the multipart and pathstyle-only checkboxes.

    2) Save the backup job and wait as it propogates to each site.

    3) Log in to the site and review the To: S3 Service tab. Note the missing information.

    BackWPup plugin 4.0.0

    MainWP BackWPup Extension 4.0.7
