    the quick solution would be disable JS Combine External and Inline , as more optimal solution is to exclude the random string from JS, please check this page for more detail

    That seems to slow it down a bit, but a lot of files are still created, I would say instead of reaching 25GB in 2-3 days, now it will take a week or more.

    Maybe the plugin should make it’s own checks on number of files and/or size, and if they are out of control, over a threshold, it should display warnings, links to possible solutions and so on
