    Currently, Jetpack is required for WooCommerce Shipping & Tax to function properly to receive the tax rates, but Jetpack shouldn’t make it more difficult or slow down your site.

    If you’re not using any other Jetpack functionality – feel free to disable the Jetpack modules you’re not using:

    Hello @douglasmikado,

    I wanted to let you know that with the 2.4.0 release of the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin, Jetpack is no longer required. Like our WooPayments plugin, WooCommerce Shipping & Tax is now able to connect directly to WordPress.com on its own for the hosted services to work.

    We would be really happy if you could give the plugin another try and, if you find it makes sense, update your rating here. ??
