Default country not changing after string translation

Can you please mention the country that you are willing to show default on the checkout page so that we could help you with the correct code?

Further, please attach the code you added to the child theme.

Hey, I used the code given in the knowledgebase and changed the country to RU for Russia as you can see in the attached screenshot https://snipboard.io/CdNhma.jpg but it only worked as default country in the billing address https://prnt.sc/w5uwigQCVkws, but not as the default country of Traveller details as seen in the attached screenshot https://prnt.sc/kpbPW3VMQylO Please provide the right code for Russia to reflect as the default country in all the forms.

As for now, it is not possible to change the default country of the Traveller details using the filter code as the default country field in the Traveler form will only be changed in case of activation of the WP Travel Pro plugin.
