Compatibility with HPOS
-
This is the only plugin out of 46 I’m using which is not compatibile with HPOS in WooCommerce 8.0. Hopefully this is coming soon?

@korvak Thanks for reaching out!
HPOS isn’t yet something we’re compatible with – although, like many other developers, it’s something we’ve been excitedly working on building/testing ??
Adding this type of compatibility is no small project and requires a significant amount of development and testing while we ensure we’re supporting HPOS perfectly while also leaving support for users who decide not to move to HPOS yet. It’s also incomparable to the effort needed for minor WooCommerce extensions that have much less functionality in WooCommerce, like a plugin that facilitates custom order numbers, for example.
As we near a beta version of this support, we’ll be sharing this information with our users via email, along with the option to begin using our beta version!
Also, just to clarify an important point, HPOS is currently only a beta option for new/fresh WooCommerce stores at this point – and has been delayed by WooCommerce to not be released as a non-beta option for new/fresh WooCommerce stores in WooCommerce v8.0, as was originally planned. The entire WooCommerce community continues to work towards better/full compatibility, and this is a process that does take time (and some serious effort).
We look forward to making a beta version of HPOS support available soon!
Hey do you guys have any updates on HPOS integration?
For our website, this is the only plugin that is stopping us from enabling the HPOS.
We understand adding this compatibility is not a small task but HPOS was declared by Woo on Jan -22, so it’s been around for quite a long time now.Hope we see the HPOS compatibility in up coming versions.

Thanks for reaching out here!
Our dev team has indeed been hard at work on compatibility here – which is significantly more complex for an integration like MyWorks, in comparison to other WooCommerce extensions that have much less functionality that interacts with WooCommerce orders than us.
However, we’re pleased to be making significant progress here, and we’ll be releasing an update in the coming weeks that adds initial support for HPOS. Even earlier, we’ll be releasing an update that support HPOS being enabled on your site with Compatibility Mode turned on.
Nice to see HPOS support in the new version. Thank you MyWorks team. Any idea on the timeframe for when “compatibility mode” can be turned off?
We’re glad we’ve been able to release this update! We expect our next update to be within the next month as we work to complete building and testing full HPOS support in our sync.
Can we know the status of the update which will allow us to use HPOS without compatibility mode enabled?
@korvak Although we don’t have a specific ETA, our team is in the final stages of testing and development with this. We’ll be notifying all of our users as soon as we have a firm ETA, which will include the ability to use a stable pre-release in the meantime.
Hi, is it seriously possible that it’s still not fully compatible after all this time?
All that’s missing is this plugin to remove the compatibility mode and finally switch completely to the new system and erase all the traces that WooCommerce had created in previous years.
Maybe we were the stupid developers to start updating plugins already in 2022 when HPOS was announced (finally after complaints related to information storage).
Hi, ViR.
Our team is hard at work continuing to finalize our HPOS compatibility while also tackling our existing roadmap of additional features we have slated as well. HPOS compatibility in our sync can’t be compared to any other feature (or plugin), as it is a?very large lift for order-intensive plugins like ours, and requires an extreme amount of effort and testing on our end – not only to correctly support HPOS in every single way we interact with WooCommerce orders, but also to correctly support existing users that choose not to enable HPOS yet. HPOS itself was in development for years before it was released, and it’s currently only 7 months old since it’s been “released” publicly by WooCommerce in October 2023.
We’ll keep our users updated as we have a pre-release version available with full HPOS compatibility, as well as when we publicly release an updated version.
Any update? Your last blog update said this:
“We expect to release an update in Q1 2024 that contains this full support (even with Compatibility Mode turned off)”Will this ever be released? Almost 1 year after the original post, and still no full HPOS support. The expected release date was Q1 2024. We’re soon reaching Q1 2025 and no sign of it.
@korvak This will indeed be released. We certainly understand your impatience, but as shared above, HPOS compatibility has been an extremely large lift for us, as our sync interacts with every single part of a WooCommerce order – not to mention additional compatibility we have with 20+ WooCommerce extensions that also interact with WooCommerce orders.
We’ve been hard at work since last year on this compatibility, and our focus is on releasing a fully-tested HPOS compatible version (as well as keeping perfect support for users who don’t wish to enable HPOS yet) – not a version that’s rushed and causes issues with HPOS.
I’d highly recommend reaching out to our support team at [email protected] to register your interest in a pre-release version, if you’d like. That’s something we’d be able to share with our users in the near future as we complete additional development and testing.
