• Hello. Great plugin, thanks for creating it. I’ve noticed that the initial active tab is not displayed if the user does not have Javascript. The tab button has the .active class but not the content. It would be great if .active could be added to the content too, as this would allow something to be shown to users who have Javascript inactive and much better for SEO.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

thanks for your query. Our plugin is based on javascript and it won’t work without javascript. Can you please explain your issues a bit more in details? Thanks

I appreciate that and this is the reason that if the class is added for the base delivery of the code, users can still see some of the content even when Javascript is turned off. The tabs and switching of content won’t work but they will be able to see something. With the .active class added, we can use CSS to ensure it is visible. Without a class that differentiates the content areas, they all remain hidden. Using :first-child isn’t a suitable solution either because people can visit the page with an anchor tag ‘#example’.
