Sitemap not redirecting to www or non-www

After that, you can follow the steps above it or refer to the steps below:

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

3. Apply the following filter code to your site.
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

But why doesn’t Rankmath official site fix this for itself?

Shouldn’t it redirect to an available sitemap?

This is a non-issue if you are using URL prefix properties on Google Search Console because that will already include the correct variation so the sitemap doesn’t need to redirect as Google will only parse the correct one from the URL prefix variation.
