    Please provide us with screenshots of your issue, so we can understand and check it better.

    Please note that it is usually impossible to shorten a blog post(unless you do customization). However, you may be able to find a plugin for this purpose in the WP repository at wp.org/plugins. Or change the styling of this section.

    Hi

    I got it working now. It is to do with “write an excerpt ” section of the post settings. This enables me to customise the length of the copy that I want displayed.
