Using threaded comments on an older theme

  • I built my homepage’s theme basically from scratch a long time ago, before Twenty Ten was chosen as the WordPress base theme by the developers and nested comments were added to the codebase. I looked into the theme and noticed that it supports threaded / nested comments, so I figured, I want this on my layout!

    Can I just drop the comments.php / functions.php into my theme and edit it so it fits in there, or do I have to do something else entirely?
