keep customers in dark re versions

First of all the plugin works fine, once its installed with latest versions. The problem is maintaining it over time. Their website, where you need to purchase the PRO version, does not have an account area nor do they publish an easily accessible changelog. In the past the wp admin does not show any updates necessary, but when checking directly with the developer, i’m alerted that my version is outdated. They need some clear details about versions and also clear distinction between paid and free. FOr some reason all is meant to be top secret, and site is devoid of account details, making it quite time consuming to maintain.
