• I use WordPress v6.2.2 on Pixelbook and Pixelbook Go devices w/ the latest version of the Chrome browser.

I upgraded the ColorMag Pro theme from v4.0.3 to v4.0.4. I need to post, edit, and publish 100 articles + several other tweaks prior to the 5 September 2023 magazine launch.

All pages in the Gutenberg editor are black. It is impossible to perform any of the foregoing tasks. The pages look fine in “Customizer” and when previewed in Gutenberg. Please see the below examples:

The support staff at ThemeGrill instructed me to change the skin color, however, these “Global” settings were never modified and do not apply to the issue in the Gutenberg “Pages” editor.

    Thank you for your expertise.

  • Hi,

Can you post a screenshot here showing how the editor with Black color looks like? Are you seeing any Javascript error in the browser console (right click > Inspect element) while using the editor?

Unfortunately you can’t see your page in the frontend because you have activated a Coming Soon page. However, this is of little use to us when it comes to the backend, which only you have access to and no one else wants or is allowed to have access to.

My recommendation would be: deactivate all plugins to exclude them as a cause. Is the view in Gutenberg then okay? If so, it was due to one of the deactivated plugins. By reactivating them individually, you can find out which one is the culprit.
If deactivating all plugins doesn’t help, it’s probably the theme. Then their support should help you even more. Since it is a commercial theme, you can not get help here in the forum.
