sort archive by post view

    Is it possible to sort categories/archives/search results by number of post views with most viewed posts displayed first?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can sort any normal WP query by setting the “orderby” parameter to “post_views”. Exactly as you would do to sort by title, date or anything else. PVC should detect that and apply any required tweaks to the query on the fly to handle that.

    Related question, this will only return posts that have views. How can we also include posts that do not have views counted yet?

    Would also like to know how to include uncounted posts using post_views orderby value.
