It’s a necessity for deploying from local wordpress.

Duplicator is great for backing up your entire site, and for cloning to and from a staging server. I wish local wordpress would support directly deploying to something other than just Flywheel and WPEngine; but until they do, duplicator is a necessity. It works great and makes deploying pretty easy.
The one thing that I would plead for a change about is the per-site licensing. Duplicator is a tool like a hammer. Imagine a carpenter having to buy (license) a new hammer for every house he works on. It just doesn’t make sense to me which is why I haven’t upgraded to a paid Duplicator license. If I could buy a license that would allow me to use it wherever I wanted, then I’d certainly kick a payment to the developers to help support them. The per-site licensing though keeps me from buying a license for an otherwise awesome tool.
