• I don’t have groundhogg installed on my wordpress multisite, but site health is reporting: groundhogg_process_queue Trying a search for “wordpress plugins that use groundhogg process queue” didn’t reveal much other than that it appears to be an SMTP email sending function. Does anyone here know if mailpoet or Icegram Express use this functionality? I am still on mailpoet2 as mailpoet3 doesn’t support multisite, but functionality in mailpoet2 is developing issues it seems, so if they are the company behind this groundhogg call, then I have to speed up my switch-over to Icegram, although I’m not done testing Icegram as I can’t verify if any new-post notifications have gone out or not outside of test emails. But if Icegram is the one using this groundhogg call, then I need to continue my search for a mailpoet2 replacement.

Groundhogg is an email marketing solution similar to MailPoet or MailChimp so it seems unlikely one service would implement a competitor’s process. Did you ever try using a Groundhogg plugin? Failed cron events can remain stored even though the related plugin had been removed.

If you think an active plugin is still using Groundhogg, you could perhaps identify which by doing a recursive, full text search in your WP installation files for “groundhogg”. Use a utility such as grep or findstr to do such a search.
