I practically tried the 3 first pages of the latest WP themes and almost all the themes tagged “education”, except the really old ones. Of course I must say I didn’t try them because of a problem with the plugin, but because I wanted to see what fits me.
Anyway, the problem is that the generated pages don’t “obey” the theme settings and that the plugin doesn’t work without the generated pages. I don’t see why the header, for example, should be 1/4 of the page, with different fonts, while on the WP theme template on a random page (I made lots of random pages to test) it looks ok. There are parts of the page I’d like to get rid of, but that’s my own shortcoming for not knowing php. However, the styles, menus, font sizes, visibility of titles etc should follow the template.
There is frequently a message “the [insert theme] doesn’t natively support XYZ feature” (especially the menu and the course blocks) which happens with lots of the themes and may be it’s in your interest to do a research.
Also, if I click on “register” from within a course page, the register window is transparent and the form fields are not visible, making it impossible to register and the user has to go back (or leave).
The other issues, like the choice of icons, svg or some stylistic choices, are minor. I found out how to fix them or replace them in the original files.
One question: in the Pro version, can we use full html functionality, scripts, frames etc, or they disappear in the final output, like in the free version? (I’m talking about the lesson content itself).
I noticed I can’t use h5p from within the lesson editor in the free. Did I miss a mention about it in the Pro, or is it a feature you don’t use? I don’t mean on any page, I mean within the lesson page specifically.
I can’t send any screenshots because I unistalled the whole WP thing and all the plugins with it, it was too time-consuming to try to fix the little things instead of creating lessons.
