    Bonjour

    cordialement

    pierre

    I put the shortcode [open ol] on several pages the display is done with the prefix from 1 to 7 and with the date ex: 2. Tuesday July 18: 09:00 to 11:30 on other pages ex: Tuesday 18: 09:00 to 11:30. I can’t remember where the display settings are made.

    @pc87 The parameter ol is for an ordered list: 1, 2, 3…

    The list can be modified using CSS – sometimes this will hide the numbers for each list item (or day in this case).

    I have to assume you’ve hidden the numbers on other pages or just used a different Shortcode that doesn’t contain the type parameter: ol.

    Hello. Thank you for your advice. You had already informed me to modify the colors, it works correctly because I added your recommendations in the css file. I confess that I have trouble understanding how to modify or complete the css file. Do you have a tutorial?

    @pc87 I do not have a tutorial to edit CSS. This is a really big subject and not covered by the plugin’s support.

    However, you can add your own CSS by going to the Advanced tab and entering your CSS instructions into the Custom Styles box. CSS rules can be specific to the reviews and rating by prefixing them with .gmbrr.

    In your browser, I recommend using Inspector (F12 to load) to view the HTML and CSS. This will help you see what’s already there and offer clues about making changes.

    I hope this helps you get started.

    d’autres fois sans le nom du jour

    y a t’il une incompatibilité

    cordialement

    Thank you for your reply. Weird things happen to me I use the ‘elementor’ plugin to build my pages using the shortcode for e.g. [open ul] sometimes it displays me correctly with the name of the day and the opening hours other times without the name of the day. Is there any incompatibility?

    @pc87 There is no incompatibility.

    I recommend either the Shortcode or HTML element in Elementor.

    It’s likely there is some CSS that’s hiding the day names.

    Without a URL, I cannot help further here.

    Thank you for the answer. Here is the url of my website: maisondesfamillesoasis.com
    It’s on the Home page. Strangely this page is displayed 3 times vertically???

    @pc87 Je ne suis pas s?r de ce que je regarde ici… vous pouvez avoir une erreur différente dans la mise en page globale qui la fait appara?tre 3 fois. Avez-vous reproduit une section entière deux fois de plus??

    Je recommanderais de parler à un concepteur de sites Web expérimenté pour vous aider à résoudre les problèmes de mise en page et de style de votre page Web.

    C’est bien au-delà de l’assistance gratuite que je peux fournir ici. Un expert serait vraiment capable de résoudre toutes les questions que vous avez postées sur le forum sans trop d’efforts.

    I am not sure what I am looking at here… you may have a different error in the overall page layout that is causing it to appear 3 times. Did you replicate an entire section two more times?

    Bonsoir

    le fond d’écran est blanc

    je ne vois pas le nom du jour car il est de couleur blanc

    j’ai suivi vos conseils

    sur ma page j’ai fait F12 et j’ai regardé dans l’onglet Editeur de style

    dans le css j’ai ajouté

    .opening-hours .day-name {
    color: #050000;
    }

    cela m’affiche le nom du jour en noir gras

    j’ai sauvegardé et recopié sur mon site

    rien ne marche le nom du jour est toujours blanc

    j’ai regardé le fichier css.css dans votre plugin open hours

    j’ai l’impression qu’il y a un autre css qui vient se superposer à celui-ci

    que faire

    The wallpaper is white. I do not see the name of the day because it is white. I followed your advice. On my page, I did F12 and looked in the Style Editor tab. In the CSS I added:

    .opening-hours .day-name {
    color: #050000;
    }

    This shows me the name of the day in bold black. I saved and copied on my site. Nothing works the name of the day is still white. I looked at the css.css file in your open hours plugin. I have the impression that there is another css which is superimposed on this one.

    What to do?

    @pc87 In your specific page, there is some CSS that sets the fall-back colour to white for the first section:

    body.pagelayer-body > header {
    font-family: Cabin;
    font-size: 16px;
    color: #ffffffff;
    }

    This inadvertently sets the bullet points to white – but the other elements have their own styling (e.g. black, green, red) that overrides this.

    You can set the bullets specifically using:

    .opening-hours ::marker {
    color: #050000;
    }

    You can set this to any colour, black, white, red, transparent….

    I feel this is outside of the plugin’s support. I recommend asking a website designer to help you with your CSS. I will not answer any further questions about CSS or general website editing.

    Thank you, I’ll ask my host. I created a new page by putting a single shortcode [open ul]. I have 3 displays the first without the dots as a prefix the other 2 with the dots but without the date. Hard to understand.

    @pc87 I don’t understand what you’re asking for.

    You’ve shared one link, and here there are 3 sections. The first section has white bullet points (inherited style, see my previous reply) and the 2 subsequent sections have unformatted bullet points. The days are showing for all three. The output from the Shortcode is exactly as expected and the same in each section. This is a styling issue. I’ve given you some CSS that will allow you to format the bullet points.
