Problem resizing header and image

Hi, I am using Carrington_mobile 1.0.2 theme.
The way it presents on an iPhone is the main page with truncated text and a ‘read more’ link. Above the text is an image and above that a header logo.

If you click read more, you go to another page similarly with a header logo, image and text.

These two pages seem to have different things driving size of the header and image than the first page. They are not the same size.

I found where to resize the second full text page header but I cannot find the second page image or where the short read more page is to resize it’s image and header.

The second page resizing of the header resides in the header.php

Can anyone guide me to where the code is the resize any of these three items?

Also the second page has no padding and as such the text goes all the way to the edge of the white space. I’ve messed with the padding statements but they seem to have no effect.
