    Hello,

I have several containers in my GTM account, I am trying to connect my SiteKit to a specific container, but for some reason, it won’t allow me to continue if I select the container I want (the “Confirm & Continue” button stays disabled and grey. If I select a different container, after “Checking tags…” for a few seconds the “Confirm & Continue” button is enabled and turns green. Not sure what’s wrong with this specific container that I am trying to select and why it won’t allow me to select it?

Hi @globecar thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues selecting your desired GTM container. I’d be happy to help you with this. Please can you share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.?
    2. Does this happen for specific containers or all containers when trying to change?
    3. Do you encounter the same behaviour when running through the troubleshooting steps here?

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.

    Hello,

    1. I’ve submited the site health info via the form.
    2. Only specific containers do that, but the one I need to select is one of the ones that do not allow me to select it.
    3. Yes, same issue.

    Thanks!

@globecar Thanks for sharing the information and including the recording which is very helpful. Could I first ask if you have tried submitting your GTM container once more from the Tag Manager platform before checking again in Site Kit?

If you create a new container, do you have the option to select that one or do you encounter the same issue?

    You are welcome!

Submitting my GTM container did not change anything.

I created a new container, exported the content from the old one, and imported it into the new one. I was then able to select this new container in SiteKit. So this does resolve my issue, but there’s still no explanation as to why I was not able to select certain containers and others not…

    Thanks!

@globecar Very interesting! Thanks for letting us know and glad you were able to get around this issue. I will mark this topic as resolved but we will look further into this to make sure there isn’t anything we are missing.

    Thanks a lot.
