How do the checks work?

Hi,
sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i am looking at setting this up on my site but i wanted to know ask a simple question that i couldn’t seem to find an answer for,
once someone has completed that check successfully the next time they place an order do they have to go through the check again? or does it register that the user is already “verified”
