    Hello Mateusz,

Thanks a lot for your excellent plugin!

I’d like to ask you if the plugin is compatible with WP All Import.

To be more specific, I have created an import using the WP All Import plugin, and I’m trying to import ~4500 posts (for each Post, I import only one image, which is also set as the Featured image of the Post).

After the import is complete, I see that, from the ~4500 images that have been imported, only ~3800 of them are converted to WebP.

Then, if I go to Dashboard > Media > Converter for Media and I click “Start Bulk Optimization”, then the rest of the images (~700 images) are converted to WebP without an issue.

The issue is that I don’t want to go and do it manually every time, because this import process is supposed to run automatically using a cron-job.

Could you please let me know if there are any options that I may not be aware of? Anything that I may be missing?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @giordanidis,

    Thank you for your message.

Can I ask you to do a certain test? First, make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin. Please export your website data and import it. Check what files are in the directory /wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads – check the specific directory with years and months and tell me how many files are there.

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi @mateuszgbiorczyk

Thank you for getting back to me!

How would you like me to export my website data? And where should I import it? I don’t get what you mean…

@giordanidis You wrote “After the import is complete”. My point is that you repeat this and then check the /wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads/ directory.

@mateuszgbiorczyk I checked this directory the first time I did the import, and I noticed that there were ~3800 images there, so ~700 images were not converted.

After this, as I wrote to you in my initial message, I went to Dashboard > Media > Converter for Media and I clicked “Start Bulk Optimization”, and then the rest of the images (~700 images) were converted to WebP without an issue.

Do you want me to delete all Posts and all Media and try again from scratch? I have no problem trying from scratch, I’m just asking to make sure what you are asking me to do! ??

    Thanks a lot!

@giordanidis Then don’t do it – I don’t want to take up your time. In the plugin settings, in the Advanced Settings tab, you should have the “Save converted images in backups generated by other plugins” option active. Then WebP and AVIF files will not be ignored by the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.

If the problem recurs in the future, please write to me before converting the missing images. Only then can I investigate the problem. Once you’ve converted the missing images, I can’t check anything.
