can't remove super admin privileges

    Hi folks,

    I recently upgraded a 2.X site to 3.0.1 and created a network. Now that I have my own administrators set up I’d like to set the original “admin” user to simply “subscriber” which as far as the site is concerned is the case, but… the account still has network administrator privileges which even after unchecking the option and clicking save remains checked, and it won’t let me delete the user thanks to this option being set.

    Has anybody else encountered this previously? Any ideas?
