On our website backed by tutor lms plugin we want to do the following:

Create a language learning course that teaches a language, with these criterias:

    • Multiple instructors, so the student can choose which instructor he/she wants to learn with.
    • Google Meet. These lessons are held 3 days a week for each student, with a duration of 15-20 minutes per student. Lessons are not in group but individually with each student. So each instructor has his own Google Meet Meeting ID where we give the student upon registration and coordination to know which days and hour suits him/her.

What steps do I need to take in order to create a course like this?

What plug-ins or additional services do I need for that?

What is the simplest way to accomplish this goal?

What is the most accurate way to do it?

I really need you to solve this for me in thorough details.

ps: currently we are using Instagram for that, so the students DM us, we get paid, we ask him which teacher he wants, we coordinate the suitable days and hours between him and the tutor, then we give him his schedule and the google meet link for the tutor. I believe if Instagram can do this, Tutor LMS Pro SHOULD be able to do this as well.

ps2: I tried creating a course and adding multiple tutors to it, then created a topic and 3 lessons. Each lesson has the name of the teacher and the link of his Google Meet in the description. Although there is no way to assign students to each tutor, and the income goes equally to all tutors even if he is not teaching that certain enrolled student. The other way around is to create separate duplicate courses only with different tutor names. This one will work but the site will look ugly (imagine 9 courses that say: Learn French with [Tutor Name], and it defeats the purpose of multi-instructors for one course.

To create a language learning course with multiple instructors and Google Meet lessons, you can follow these steps:

    1. Install and set up Tutor LMS Pro: Make sure you have Tutor LMS Pro installed and activated on your WordPress website. Set up the basic course settings and configure any necessary payment gateways.
    2. Instructor preference: You can indicate the preferred instructor in the course description or provide instructions for students to communicate their preferred instructor to you during the registration process. You can then manually assign the students to their preferred instructors based on their preferences.
    3. Communication and scheduling: Once the students are enrolled, you can manually coordinate with them and the instructors to schedule the Google Meet sessions individually. You can use communication channels like email or messaging to exchange the necessary details and finalize the timings.
    4. Customizations or third-party solutions: If you require more advanced features such as automated instructor selection or integrated scheduling with Google Meet, you may need to explore custom development options or consider using third-party plugins or services that offer such functionalities. It is recommended to consult with a qualified developer or explore available plugins that provide the desired features.

Please note that implementing these workarounds may involve customizations or integrations beyond the core features of Tutor LMS. It’s essential to assess your specific needs and consult with a developer or support team to find the most suitable solution for your language learning course requirements.

Okay now a student has enrolled in the course, paid, and selected his prefered tutor and timing using a gravity form shortcode in the description of the course. Now we know who he wants to be his tutor. We also have made his order marked as (completed)

    You mentioned:

“You can then manually assign the students to their preferred instructors based on their preferences.”

How can we do that? and how the money he paid is only counted in that tutor’s earning reports not divided equally between all tutors of the course?

    Dear @mdarwish313

In Tutor LMS, the primary instructor of a course is the one who receives the commission for that particular course. If a student has enrolled, paid, and selected a preferred tutor using a Gravity Form shortcode in the course description, you can manually assign the student to their preferred course based on their preferences.

    Thank you.

“you can manually assign the student to their preferred course based on their preferences.” you meant preferred course tutor?

I don’t get it, sorry for that.

When a student’s order is marked as completed, they are automatically enrolled in the multi-instructor course I have made. so no need to manually enroll them.

Now there is a course, it has:

Tutor A (let’s say he’s the primary instructor)

    Tutor B

    Tutor C

the student has paid, chosen Tutor B in a gravity form in the course description, and we have marked his order as complete and he can access the course lessons.

How can we assign the student to Tutor B? and will he get his earnings correct?

    Dear @mdarwish313

I apologize for the confusion. In a multi-instructor course, it’s not currently possible to assign students to a specific instructor based on their preferences. The enrollment process automatically enrolls students in the course without allowing for manual assignment to individual instructors.

Regarding earnings, in Tutor LMS, only the primary instructor of the course will receive the earnings. The earnings are not divided among multiple instructors in a multi-instructor course.

Then what is the use of a multi-instructor course if we cannot assign students to each instructor and we cannot divide or manage the earnings of them in any way?

Unfortunately my issue is not resolved.

    Dear @mdarwish313

I apologize for any confusion caused. I understand your desire to have more advanced features related to the multi-instructor course functionality. However, the multi-instructor system in Tutor LMS is primarily designed to allow multiple instructors to collaborate on course content and conduct live classes. The focus is on providing a platform for instructors to share their knowledge and interact with students.

The ability to assign students to specific instructors and manage earnings for each instructor individually is currently not part of the core functionality of the multi-instructor feature. It is important to note that the multi-instructor system is a pro feature, and if you have a valid Tutor LMS Pro license, I encourage you to reach out to us via email using the email address associated with your themeum.com account and provide your order number. Our support team will be able to assist you further with any specific inquiries or requests related to your Pro license.

I apologize if this limitation does not meet your specific requirements. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We’re here to assist you in any way we can.
