Custom Field template textarea ignores html

  • Hi,

    I’m using Custom Field Template, and I’m using this for a variable text in the sidebar. I load this as a widget, working fine.

    But everytime I edit a page or post, the html in the textarea is ignored.
    So if I put this in the textarea:
    Hi
    This is a test

    and I edit the page after the first dave, the code gets saved as
    Hi This is a test

    And my mark-up gets lost. What can I do to fix this? I can’t find the source of the problem…

    Yeah, I found it. There is an option for adding breaks and paragraphs:

    In case that you would like to add p and br tags in textareas automatically:
    Use wpautop function
