Problem after updating plugin

    Hello,

    I updated my Really Simple SSL plugin this morning and now my non-secure http pages are not redirecting to secure pages https. They display as non-secure. The home page goes from http to https but not of the other pages on the site. I installed the Rollback plugin and rolled back to the last version of the plugin, but not working still. But I don’t know which version I had. The plugin has not been updated in about 1.5 years.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you check if the redirect to https is still activated?

    You can find it in settings/ssl.

    You can also enable the htaccess redirect, if the default redirect doesn’t work out of the box.

    Then clear the cache.

    Hi Rogier, thanks so much for your reply.

    Yes, in settings it says that SSL is activated.

    Under Redirect Method is says (301 .htaccess redirect) Is that what you mean when you say enable htaccess redirect? If so, that is already done, and I did clear cache many times today.

    And Mixed Content Fixer is enabled as well.

    Please try switching from htaccess to the default redirect, then save, to see if that helps.

    Hi Rogier,

    That was it. It is fixed now. Don’t know how it got set like that. Appears it defaulted to that when I did the update. But all is good now and I know what to watch for next time. Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your help.
