• Hi

Love the plugin. I have a specific question about the “special opening hours for public holidays” feature.

While I can set separate hours for holidays, I haven’t found a way to give these holidays custom names or labels. For example, if I have special hours for Christmas or New Year’s Day, I would like to be able to label these days as such on the frontend of the site.

Could you please advise if there’s a way to do this? If it’s not currently possible, is it something you might consider for a future update?

    Thanks in advance.

    @aebiruf Thanks for your suggestion!

This request has been made by others in the forum.

I do have labelling in the pipeline to be introduced in an upcoming version.

@aebiruf Added in version 1.48. Please download this version and you can get started with your date labelling.

    thanks, @designextreme

I missed the feedback but have updated it now, and it looks great. I have one follow-up question: Is it possible to split the label onto a new row in the table?

Right now, I have a table that displays the date or label and the time. I would like to display three rows: date, label, time.

    [open class="hours-right day-left closed-bold day-normal no-border" day_format="full_date_month_comma_nos" labels=false time_format="24_dot" time_group_suffix=" Uhr" regular=false start="0" end="365"]

    If no label = empty.

    Thanks for your feeback.

@aebiruf This is a good point, but implementing this as a new cell in a table is problematic (because it relies on all entries having a label and all entries will need to be checked prior to displaying). I will need to find a creative way to introduce this table layout as a Shortcode.

A different option: I could look into something that includes both a date and a label with <span> enclosing each, potentially allowing for the same view.

I will also look the request as this may be possible without too much new code.

When this is introduced, I’ll tag you again.

Thanks again for the swift response.
I see – also the problem of every date needs a label, which won’t be possible.

But a “deluxe” day_format might really be a nice workaround:
    Monday, 25. December 23, Label
