    Good afternoon,
I’m Claudio. Got a problem with Complianz and WP Maps (by flippercode). Until Complianz is active, maps are not showing. I already contacted Flippercode and they told me to ask for help to you.

I saw many topics about Complianz and Google Maps API problem but I didn’t find right solution for me. This is the page where problem is
    https://www.libriincantina.it/informazioni-utili/
I tried to use Complianz in safe mode and maps are working…. Anyway could you help me?
    Thanks a lot
    Claudio

    Hi @claudiopisu,

You can disable the default Google Maps integration under Complianz > Integrations > Services and follow the instructions provided in the article below to integrate the plugin with Flippercode’s own GDPR mechanism:

    Hello @jarnovos,
could be ok but I’m using the free version and I can’t apply what I find in that useful article.

Is there no solution? I would not change GDPR plugin… Complianz is perfect for that!

    Hi @claudiopisu,

The reason why I initially offered the above solution is because this Maps plugin loads quite a number of scripts which depend on each other. These will have to be blocked & reloaded in the correct order when unblocking; or you will see an “undefined” error and the Map doesn’t load afterwards.

I will have to set up an environment with this plugin to test for potential solutions, but due to the above, I can’t make any guarantees yet.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @claudiopisu,

For the time being, you can restore the Google Map to the original “unblocked” state to allow it to load; by disabling the WP Google Map Plugin integration under Complianz > Integrations > Plugins.

If that doesn’t help yet, additionally disable the ‘default’ Google Maps integration under Complianz > Integrations > Services as well.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Thank you @jarnovos
In the meantime, I applied options you told me

    Hi @claudiopisu,

I’ve been trying several different variations of this integration, but reloading this Map after obtaining consent remains rather inconsistent.

I would therefore recommend blocking this content with the Consent Area shortcode in Complianz. So, place your WP Maps shortcode between [cmplz-consent-area][/cmplz-consent-area] tags.

The result will be similar to this example page: https://ming-fever-liwo.instawp.xyz/kaart/

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @claudiopisu,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, is the issue resolved? We are happy to help you further.

    Kind regards, Kim

    Hi @jarnovos,
i added shortcodes you told me. Anyway i have to keep google maps unblocked under integrations setting of Complianz, otherwise maps didn’t show
    Thanks for help

    Hi @claudiopisu,

    This can be correct, Google Maps integration itself, might block a part as well; Here you can read more about the area and how to add a placeholder;
