Getting Rid of Glossary page

Is it possible that you have a glossary plugin installed (there is more than one option – for example: https://blog.hubspot.com/website/wordpress-glossary-plugins)?

I have not installed any glossary plugins. But I do have a Tool Tip plugin since years, which did not create the glossary page like this.. It will be interesting to see if that’s the culprit.

It is indeed the wp tool tip plugin which has glossary pages option in it which I never knew – perhaps after I updated the plugin, that got enabled and wouldn’t go away.

So I disabled it from showing up and deleted it from the page list. It doesn’t show up on my website.
