Im experiencing intermittent issues with the WooCommerce Checkout fields displaying cached values to customers.

This problem has occured multiple times across 2 websites that I manage. Each website is hosted on WP Engine and uses the “Shoptimizer” theme (by Commerce Gurus) and also uses Elementor and Elementor Pro.

All of these points match the configuration mentioned in this previous thread which outlines the same issue…

I’m hoping that @dxvarun will contact me to help me troubleshoot this problem further and get to the bottom of why the WP Engine cache exclusions seem to be intermittently failing across websites that share this set up.

  • Hi there @origami-penguin ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

First, apologies for the delay. We have seen a recent influx of tickets and are currently working through a backlog.

From what I gather, cached values are displayed at checkout intermittently at both your sites hosted with WP Engine. Correct?

Were any fatal errors generated during the time when those particular transactions took place? Please navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and, from the dropdown on the right side, please see if there are any logs starting with the words fatal-error. Let us know what you find.

Furthermore, did you already have a chance to get in touch with WP Engine about this? What were their findings, if so?
