Maximum podcast episodes?

Thanks for using podcast player on your website.

The problem should not be with the feed. I tried to display the feed on my test website (https://vedathemes.com/pp-test/) and it is working perfectly. There must be some issue with some other plugin or setting on the website.

Just try to display the feed using shortcode to see if that work. Add a shortcode block on the page and add the following,

[podcastplayer feed_url="https://feeds.megaphone.fm/OLD5345909472"]

Inform if it is also not working. Otherwise, we can check if some other plugin or something else is causing the conflict.

Inform me for any more clarification on the above.

Thank you for the quick reply. When I use the shortcode and choose to Preview Changes, I get the error:

This page isn’t working

oldpodcast.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

After I remove the shortcode, Preview Changes works again.

Hi there,

Are other podcasts (smaller podcasts) working on your website? If yes, than your website host must have put some limit on it.

Let’s do a simple test. Go to any page’s edit screen and add WordPress’s own RSS block. Add your feed url in the block and check if it is working.

In any case, inform me for more assistance. We will try to resolve this issue.

Using WordPress’s own RSS block, I can get the smaller podcasts to work, but not the larger ones.

The error for the larger podcasts: “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”

You are correct – the host needed to increase the PHP memory. Thank you again for your help.
