I started noticing this message when using wp_debug. It has probably been there for a long time but I haven’t seen it since I just took over as webmaster.

    WooCommerce Composite Products (Version 8.3.3)
"Deprecated: Function is_admin_or_embed_page is deprecated since version 6.3! Use \Automattic\WooCommerce\Admin\PageController::is_admin_or_embed_page() instead. in /data/7/3/73955e7d-281c-483a-8c3e-f1d87a9f775e/[redacted]/web/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5413"

I did turn off plugins one after another and the error message disappeared when “Composite Products”. was deactivated.

I thought this could be of value for the developers. I’ve spent a long time to figure out how to be able to log this sort of issue since I don’t have access to the account who bought these plugins.

    Hi @swmkii ,

    Thanks for reaching ou!

I understand that you have identified the above notices which seem to disappear when deactivating the Composite Products extension, is this correct?

Since this is related to a premium extension, if you have a valid license, please contact us directly via?WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to log in to the account used to purchase the extension before you are able to access that page.

As per the?forum guidelines, no support for premium extensions is done here but we will be happy to assist you further from there?

    Cheers!

Hello and thank you for replying.
I’ve sent an extensive support message to you as this issue seems to have started to affect more things in the back-end than just being a deprecated message. It seems as if it’s started to affect product creation as well.
It’s sent from the same e-mail & username as I have here.

Please note that the account I’m asking for help from isn’t the same which our WooCommerce installation is on – as I do not have access to the e-mail which was used with the setup of the site. I’d really appreciate if you could somehow also see what e-mail that site has been registered to so that I can request the person to sign over the account to me.

I’m a member of the WooCommerce Slack community and I was told to send a message through the proper channels even though I don’t have the right account. I hope you take this seriously!

    Please take a look.

    Best Regards,

I’ve sent an extensive support message to you as this issue seems to have started to affect more things in the back-end than just being a deprecated message. It seems as if it’s started to affect product creation as well.

Just to note, it is recommended to keep all software up to date, and version 8.3.3 of the?Composite Products?extension was released in October 2021.
