    Hi,

when using non-clickable menu links described at oceanwp documentation this is working fine on desktop view, but when accessing the page on a mobile device the “non-clickable” links are clickable. Example is shown at our webpage https://mord-im-park.de/ when trying to click on “Standorte” in menu. On Desktop view all is working fine and submenu entries are shown, but when touching “Standorte” in mobile version of the menu, the link is unfortunately clickable and the the linked page is loaded, which should not happen.

Is there any possibility to make such links also non-clickable on mobile version of our webpage?

    BR and thanks a lot,

    Andreas

  • Hello @mordimpark,

I’ve checked your website and didn’t see any issues: https://postimg.cc/qgJ7Ytb3.

However, since you are using the “Full Screen” mobile menu style, in this case, you can set the “Dropdown Target” option from Customizer > Header > Mobile Menu.

If you set the “link” for this option, it’ll not open the link but will open the dropdown. If you select the “icon”, then the link will work, and by tapping on the icon, it will open the dropdown list.

    I hope it helps.

    Hi Shahin,

When using the “Dropdown Target” menu style instead of “Full Screen” everything works as expected. Thanks a lot for your help. This solution is fine for us.

But still I guess there is a bug “Full Screen” version, as the disabled links are clickable. But no problem anymore for us as we are now using the other style.

BR and thanks a lot for your quick help

    Hello @mordimpark,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end.

It seems that was a cache issue. In these cases, if you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, in Elementor, please don’t forget to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools; and finally, use hard-refreshing methods and recheck the issue.

    Best Regards
