• Does it backs up the whole multisite installation or the individual subsites?

How does it really work with multisite? I did not see any specific multisite control in the network admin area.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Hello @sirotwo

So it backups whole Network, which means it will back up all websites.
You can backup from any network site and it will backup the whole multisite install.

Okay so how do I clone a website to another domain? It seems there is no way to do that with the plugin.

    Hello,

Yes, we are sorry to say that as of now there is no way to clone a single site out of network site.

No, I’m talking about migration/clone generally, its not working.

I want to migrate the whole network. And or other single websites. But nothing is working.

    Hello @sirotwo

Okay, would you please tell what issue you are facing or at what point is it getting stuck?

I followed the migration process of connecting to the same Google drive, but the backup will not sync to the new site. Therefore no backup to restore.

    Hello,

So when you sync does it gets stuck at loading or does it refreshes the page?

When I sync for backups they don’t appear on the new site. Even when I create a path for the new website in google drive and copy the backup to it.

    Hello,

Would you please check if you have the info file where you have uploaded the file in Google Drive. The info file will have similar name to the backup just the extension will be .info.

Yes the info file is there.

Could it be that migration to a different domain is not supported?

    (@backuply)

    Hello,

Syncing is independent of migration so it should work irrespective of if it’s migration or restoration.

Will it be possible for you to create a ticket https://softaculous.deskuss.com/open.php?topicId=17 so we can look at the issue?

If you have tried reproducing the issue and it worked perfectly, please let me know. Then I will try it once more and if it doesn’t work I will open a ticket.

Have you tried it in a multisite? Perhaps, it doesn’t work in a multisite.

I’m genuinely sorry for wasting your time, I never knew I specified a path for the origin website. So one must use the same path on the destination website.

    Thanks for your time.
