Can filter search taxonomy for terms

The site that I have this filter on has a front end form that users complete and their submissions are saved as products. The front end form has text inputs for most of the taxonomies that I need to filter on so there are multiple terms for each taxonomy depending on what users typed. I don’t want all of the options that users have entered to display, I only want to have certain options that the filter searches for in the terms, eg. terms could be ‘blue’, ‘blue green’ and ‘blue and sometimes green’ and the filter options could be ‘blue’ and ‘green’. If I selected blue, I want to see 3 results because 3 contain the word blue and if I select green then I should see 2 results.

Is this possible in the free or premium versions?
