How do I exclude products according to a specific attribute from the category?

Hello,
I am trying to create a discount based on product categories.
I want to exclude products with a specific attribute from this category.

The steps I follow are:
I add a rule
Products Discount

After:
Category
In list
and I select value

…. So far so good.

After:
Add product filter (button)
Attributes
Not in list
and I select the value

Now it stops working!
Stop showing discounts.

Am I using the right method?
