Removing default admin account

Hi @gloriousnoise, wrangling accounts can get confusing, you’re doing fine. ?? It sounds like the old default admin owned the Jetpack connection so removing it broke it.

Does the email of the new admin user also have an account at WordPress.com? If not, you can create one at https://wordpress.com/start/user, then use it to connect Jetpack.
